It was Christmas Eve. Down in Whoville, the Whos were celebrating by singing and having a feast. The Grinch HATED Christmas. We don't know the reasons but maybe his head wasn't screwed on properly, his shoes were too tight or perhaps his heart was two sizes too small.

Then, he thought about ruining the Whos' Christmas. At night, he dressed up as Saint Nick and taped an antler to his dog's head to make him look like a reindeer. He crafted a ramshackle sleigh and he sluck into their houses.

The Grinch stole all of their food, trimmings and trappings, presents and their Christmas trees. He stuffed them all up the chimneys and took all of them up a mountain to dump them.  He considered that he would hear loud cries. Instead he couldn't believe his ears: the Whos were carolling in spite of not having any presents or Christmas decorations.

The Grinch realized that Christmas wasn't all about presents, it was about people bonding together. Understanding that, the Grinch's heart grew twice its size so he could feel the same as the others. It wasn't a wonder that he came back with all the stuff he had stolen. Then, he enjoyed singing with the others and even cut the roast beast. That was the Christmas that changed his view.
