ReplyDeleteLife in Romania and UK
Hi! My name is David and I am going to present you two cultures that we study at school and which I like very much, UK and my country Romania.
In Romania typical family has got two parents and one or two children. Families in Romania are very friendly and kind.
In the UK a typical family has got two parents and one or two children too. Families in UK are cautious and they are not very sociable.
In their free time, Brits like watching TV, listening to music and gardening. They hang out with friends, go to concerts and more.
Romania people like watching TV, listening to music, fun trips, reading books, going on vacation and more.
Romania’s attractions: Bucharest city, Castles, The Black Sea, Monasteries.
Romania’s capital is Bucharest, the largest city in the country.
In UK are a lot of attractions like: Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, St. Paul cathedral, British Museum and more. The capital of UK is Londra.
Romania people love eating, most popular dishes are musaca, stuffed peppers, polenta and sarmale.
In UK, breakfast is not the same such as Romania. Contains sausages, eggs, tea, orange juice, cornflakes and toast.
Football is the most popular sport in UK, however cricket is the national sport. Brits also like playing tennis, badminton, rugby and netball.
In Romania, most popular sport is football.
Harry Potter is very popular in UK and in Romania too. There are serials, books and movies.
So you see, life in UK and Romania is mostly the same, but there are some differences, too. The culture of each people is important, only knowing where we come from, we can project our future.
Do you have any questions? Thank you for listening.
David
Do you ever go abroad on holiday? You can learn a lot about a country from its culture. That’s why we are studying the cultures of other countries, such as the UK.
ReplyDeleteThe typical family in romania has got two children, but some families have just 1 child or other families are single-parent.
Romanians’ interests include swimming, vacation and barbecue with other friends.
Romanian love doing eating seeds sitting on the bench.
The culture of our country is part of evrything we do and see, from our families to the activities we enjoy. That’s pretty important, isn’t it?
Do you have any questions?
Thank you for listening.
Luca
Unfortunately , a lot of Romanian people love eating sunflower seeds sitting on a bench.

ReplyDeletehave you ever thought about how cultures are in other countries
? You can learn so many things about a country if you know the culture of it, such as the UK, the country we are going to talk about.
In the UK a typical family have two parents and one or two children, but there are families with just one parent. In their free time the Brits like to watch soap operas and reality shows. Their favourite activities are listening to radio, reading, gardening and watching the TV. In Romania things are a little bit different. A typical family in Romania has got 1-2 children and two parents, but there are families have got just one parent such as the UK.
Romanians like dancing and watching the TV, they like reality shows, news and soap operas they also like to play or watch sports such as football, basketball or tennis. So you can see that is a difference between these two countries and what they do and
what they like to do. Thank you for your attention.
