COME RAIN OR SHINE - no matter what 

* My lawyer told me that he would get me out come rain or shine.


TO GO DOWN IN FLAMES = to fail 

*I tried to do a backflip but I went down in flames.


YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN = you totally agree that is true 

- That Math test was surely hard!

- You can say that again!


TO SEE EYE TO EYE =  you totally agree with smb 

* I didn't see eye to eye with my mother's opinion about my girlfriend.


TO JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON = to follow a trend 

* It is better before jumping on the bandwagon to think if that trend suits you . 


AS RIGHT AS RAIN = perfect

* Nothing is as right as rain in this world.


TO BEAT AROUND THE BUSH = to avoid saying smth 

* My classmates beat around the bush because they consider they are good friends.


TO HIT THE SACK = to go to bed 

* For students, hitting the sack as early as possible at night is an important issue. 


MISS THE BOAT = it is too late 

* The assignment was due at 12:00 PM; You missed the boat.


BY THE SKIN OF MY TEETH = ' la mustata' / barely / hardly 

*  I passed the Physics exam by the skin of my teeth .
